DIY Skin Toner

After our 4th child was born with chronic skin issues, we began to learn how important it is to be aware of what is going onto our skin and into our bodies.

By the time our 5th baby was on the way, I had pretty well emptied out all of my personal care items in favor of cleaner ones and many of those were DIY items, including my toner, that I’d learned to make and infuse with my favorite essential oils.

The benefits of oils on the skin are amazing. In this recipe, I’m choosing Tea Tree to promote a healthy surface on my skin where it’s easy to collect bacteria and debris in our pores.
I’m also using Frankincense which is regarded for being excellent for whole-body health on the cellular level. When I’m thinking of glowing, healthy skin with an overall even tone, I’m thinking about frankincense. Anti-aging starts at the cellular level.

RECIPE:
+ Glass Jar with a tight light
+ Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
+ Water
(We have a whole house filter that removes fluoride, chlorine, and other toxins. If I were making some without that, I’d consider high PH water such as Fiji Water or Smart Water.)
+ Organic Cotton Rounds

HOW TO:
Mix ACV + Water + Oils
Apply lid and shake to evenly mix ingredients.
Add cotton rounds to jar slowly until full.

I use this on my face + on any areas of our skin that need a little extra attention.

Let me know what you think of this recipe.
